Sleep, Engrish, Green Lantern
June 29th, 2011By far, the most popular blog I’ve written is the one about Ambien, and the post-apocalyptic birthday. It’s the one that gets read repeatedly. This is interesting to me. Are people interested in the Ambien? The Apocalypse? Fair Food? All of the above?
I have discovered a sleep cocktail, that at least for me, as worked better than Ambien, and at least as well as Lunesta. As I am not a doctor, I can’t post it publicly. It is legal, and involves no alcohol. =)
Donnie and I now have a screensaver of Engrish on our TV, and this makes me really happy. I LOVE Engrish. I need to go back to China, not under the government’s thumb, and go in search of great Engrish. This is now on my bucket list.
So I saw the Green Lantern. As I thought, this was a movie that was absolutely made to be watched in 3D. I wouldn’t even want to attempt to watch it in 2D. It wasn’t as terrible as critics and users say on Rotten Tomatoes, but I’ve got to say, it did have it’s problems. One problem was that there were at least 4 writers. Nothing was written above maybe a 6th grade reading level, and it showed. I have to say, my favorite part, by far, was my extreme amusement at the end, when Paralax (sp?) comes down to Earth as a giant dreadlock/shitmonster/used cat litter and spreads the pain everywhere.
Must go watch Literal stuff on Youtube.
HAHAHA! I need to read your blog more often. “giant dreadlock/shitmonster/used cat litter” villain=EXACTLY what that thing was.
